Word meaning

1.Travel: To go from one place to another.
2.Rescue: To save someone from danger.
3.Overbridge: A bridge built over a road or railway for crossing.
4.Subway: An underground path for people to  the road safely.
5.Zebra crossing: A place with white lines on the road for people to cross safely.

1. Why do we use aeroplanes?
Ans- We use aeroplanes because they are the fastest means of transport and help us travel long distances in less time.

2. Name some means of water transport.
Ans -Some means of water transport are boats, ships, steamers, and ferries.
3. Neha saw a means of air transport while coming from school. It had a fan-like structure on its top. What did she see?
Ans- She saw a helicopter.

1. Describe the means of air transport.
Ans - Air transport is the fastest means of transport. It is used to travel long distances quickly. Aeroplanes and helicopters are common means of air transport. Aeroplanes are used for long journeys, while helicopters can land in small places and are often used in emergencies.

Ans -
*Always walk on the footpath.
*Follow traffic signals and rules.
*Do not cross the road without looking both ways.
